I'm of a different opinion. I'd rather have one great album, even if
it costs 20 bucks, than a hundred cut-outs. Ususally, they're cut
out for a reason, if you get my drift. There might be one decent
song and the rest garbage. But hey, I've never had any mouths to
feed but my own, so it's not fair for me to comment on your
lifestyle. I think old AB's heart's in the right place, but I would
question the ethics of bootlegging someone like the Surgeons.
Granted, yo weren't trying to make money--that's the ultimate in
hatefulness. But bootleg someone who's rich, not someone like Al
who's just getting by and still trying his best to make great music
for us to enjoy.
