Imaginos on Stage

Al a thought occurred to me over the weekend while listening to Imaginos;
this would make an awesome stage production.  Have you ever considered doing
such a thing?  I imagine it could be very expensive, not to mention
difficult, but if you had the fincancial backing would or could you make
Imaginos into a stage production.  What would it take in you opinion to do
this?
