I completely agree.  Myself, I can't stand the sound of a Strat at moderate
volume ('room temperature')
I can't play anything other than Les Pauls and I gave up on the Strat.

Les Pauls are the best in my view, but that's like Apples and Oranges, IBM
and Apple...
