I've noticed the same thing. It could be that people are sitting
patiently and quietly awaiting the new BOC album, afraid that if they
make some sudden moves it will tip the balance of the cosmos toward
making the album another "greatest hits".
This could be the aftermath of the whole "Keep the traffic down" thread
and people are afraid to speak out on subjects that aren't 100% BOC/HW
content. I myself have tried very hard not to respond to EVERY posting
anymore. Maybe others are doing the same.
It could be that AB's been out of the office alot. :^)
It could also be because of the new digested version of the list which
is available. I am on quite a number of lists myself, and it seems that
I reply to less messages on a digest. When EACH message is a separate
entity, it's easy to respond to them as they come, racking up a whopping
10 messages or so before you realise it. In digest mode, I tend to read
the WHOLE digest and then say, "yeah, I think I'll respond to that
thread about the horrible eMpTV video awards this time."
Or it could be that there hasn't been much to say.
Hell, I'm really not sure what I'm saying at the moment.
