All I know about the Tubes is that Buck Dharma is a fan, he once said so in an interview w/Jim Ladd. He was talking about how it surprised him that more people didn't appreciate bands who used humour in their lyrics (such as BOC and the Tubes) and he refferred to the Tubes as "great"... Chuck
