kronos/busted cross?

There's a bit about all of this in the FAQ. But, as I recall, the band
had Bill Gwalik (I think that's it) do the covers for the first 2 albums
based on some work he did (City of the Future I think), and Pearlman
liked it. At the time, the symbol was used by Gwalik, and the band later
adopted it as their own because they liked the look, and later found out
some of the other connections - such as the symbol for Saturn (Chronos),
as well as being an alchemical symbol (and the alchemists probably got
the symbol from the people who used it as a symbol for Saturn), and they
also found out it was a symbol for "chaos". It's my understanding from
things Albert said in the past that the choice of this symbol was not
done originally because of the various meanings, more that the band
liked the way it looked.
Of course, the idea that the BOC symbol is somehow connected to either
the swastika, or being a bastardized cross (somehow questioning God)
is utter horseshit.
