 Your not kidding about the beer.  Long ago (76) I had the good fortune
of visiting Sydney while in the US Navy.  We were invited out by a kind
gent who put us up in his house for the weekend (there were 3 of us )
and he and his family showed us a great time. We absolutely could not
spend any of our own money if we tried.  He took us to a RSL club in
Ingleburn(?) and drank Toohey's on tap. Much better than Fosters I think.
The local champagne was quite excellent also. After 3 bottles, I was told
I was carried back onboard the ship. Still no memory of this incident, so it
must be true ;-)
