HW: Happiness is... a package of remasters!

I'm beginning to think that maybe someone up there likes me after all!
Amidst the stark, desolate, incessant misery of studying for next week's
qualifying exam there came today a shining beacon of joy. Why, waiting on
my doorstep today, I discovered a discreet package containing none other
than the complete set of five EMI remastered Hawkwind CDs I'd ordered!
Talk about "couldn't have come at a better time!..."
The burning question now, however, is just what is the best way for a kid
to proceed, having been given the key to the entire sweet shop? ;-)
Oh well, I guess I'll nibble awhile before launching into some real heavy
duty scranning... :-)
Cheers,
Paul "happy as a pig in shite" Mather.
obCDs: The Hawkwind EMI remasters, naturally...
PS: FYI, I managed to get all five for around $100, including airmail
postage, from my old stalwarts, Cob Records, in Wales (UK). Although I
paid in sterling, they do take VISA, and you'll be charged the appropriate
exchange rate at the time your VISA account is credited (as with all
international VISA orders). The cost of all 5 CDs + postage, for USA
customers, is L67.49. At the current exchange rate of approximately $1.50
to the pound, that comes to just over $101. They accept orders by FAX,
too.
I'm not affiliated with Cob Records, nor is this meant even to be a plug
for them. It's just that given I've seen the Hawkwind remasters
advertised in the USA ranging from $23--$35(!) for just the *single* CDs
(and usually that's *excluding* postage), I thought I'd let those
financially challenged amongst us know of a cheaper possible alternative.
I've always found Cob Records to be reliable all the times I've used them
over the years. (USA folks who traded with me when I lived in North Wales
may recognise the Cob Records name. They were the company I used for my
"Hawklifts.":)
