Try checking out sci.archaeology if you're interested in this sorta stuff.
You'll see how far away from provability we are! It just seems to be
constant bickering! Personally I think there's a pretty good case for what
Buval etc. have to say, but it really relies on taking peoples' word on
things. Unless you do the studies/tests/whatever yourself, how can you rely
on the data? There's "evidence" that backs up both sides of the
argument...so which is right?!! And what's gonna be behind the "door"
discovered in the Great Pyramid? Well, in a sad attempt at combining
"humour" and making this thread somehow end up on HW, I hereby predict it's
gonna be a Sonic Attack promo w/cloth bag. Maybe.
