Steady on Jon. I think (hope!) that *Star_Rats* is merely delineating
some possibilities. But then I remember that you are privy to info
(well rumours) that the rest of us don't know. So who has asked Alan to
leave then? Come on Jon tell us, was it the management or Brock?

Yeap, they're on there best form since the early '80's (IMHO of course).
In no small part due to Alan, he was a fan before he joined and seems
to understand what it is that we like about HW. The band needs MORE
Alan not less!!!
As an aside, I've been wondering what Alan would do without HW. I mean
how do you make a living after 10 years in HW, actually how do you make
a living for 10 years IN HW! It'd be a pity to see him go the HLL route
and end up playing in pubs to 10 people who only want to hear HW stuff!
Maybe he could join Uncle Niks band?
