BOC: Mirrors - Can You Dance to It?

I think it did - at least back then (probably still to this day - but I
don't have sales figures).  The Goldmine article mentioned this -
which kind of left BOC scratching their heads as the overall problem
with Mirrors appears to be it's lightness, so BOC makes the heaviest
album they had in several years, and it sold even worse... Maybe CE
suffered simply from Mirrors' lack of popularity (i.e. fans "gave up"
on BOC), or Columbia failed to promote the album, or other factors.  But
yes, I believe Mirrors sold better.  Perhaps if there was one good single
from CE (I think "Divine Wind" could have been a hit here in the U.S.),
it would've sold better?  I mean, "The Marshall Plan" is sort of a neat
song in some ways, but never seemed to me like a hit single.  "Monsters"
is probably my favorite track on the album, but I don't think it would
have been well-received by the general population as well.  Same for
"Black Blade" and "Lips in the Hills".  Maybe "Unknown Tongue", although
that was probably too controversial for 1980 radio.
