No, I have never practiced ceremonial magick, if that's what you mean.
I also don't belong to any Crowley cults.  Whether any of that stuff
works is a matter to be tested empirically (but then, that's what *he*
said anyway), and I haven't seen any evidence of anyone -- his followers
included -- having done so or doing so now.

He's a "supreme mystic" because of his achievements.  We only know it
because of his writings.  Something I *have* done is read fairly
comprehensively in the field, and can tell you that Crowley gives the
best description and classification of mystic states of consciousness
that I've seen (in an essay titled, stupidly enough, "The Psychology of
Hashish" -- where the drug experience is really just an analogue for
those who haven't taken the time to do long yoga exercises; a poor
analogue).  There you have it.

PS: notice the tarot cards on the cover of AoF come from the Crowley
deck.
