Because when punk happened Nik cut his hair and formed a punk band.
One of the albums was called "Punkadelic", which describes ICU
perfectly.
As has been said he's also a hippie, spacerocker and ambiant houser.
I agree, who needs labels? But having said that Nik's more punk than 80%
of the so-called punks.:)
