Yeah - this must be so since I asked the same question once and
got a reply from someone who was in the audience that they didn't
remember anything like that happening at all during the show!

Wierd, really, why they bother to put in audience participation sounds
that are not only over-exaggerated but not even true!

Reminds me of the story I heard long, long, ago when some rock band bloke
was being interviewed on Radio 1 about a live album they had just put
out.    He went on about what a great album it was and how they had used
only the original audience sound and then continued obliquely to say -
unlike some other fairly well known band that had recorded a live album
and then completely re-recorded it using enhanced audience reaction
sounds because they weren't obvious enough.

I've never known who he was referring to but still keep wondering since
there weren't *that* many bands around at the time he said this.
