The reason is because Dave wants to hear the music he did perfect.

-  On LIVE 79 he only mixed some audience noises into the gig
-  On LIVE CHRONICLES he did nothing (It was a perfect gig) The live tape
sounds identical
-  To my surprise he did nothing on HAWKLORDS LIVE (except SONIC
ATTAC) though there were some problems during this gig
