OFF: PTree NY live online

       I've been paying attention to the PTree list, and here is the
       scoop as best as I can tell:

       The NYC Record showcase took place alright.  Apparently it was an
       abbreviated set (about 5-6 songs only), and was plagued by both a
       late start and a mid-set equipment failure.  Since this set was
       apparently _intended_ to be a short set for the record industry
       pundits, the SonicNet folks and PT decided NOT to cybercast this
       show (apparently at the last minute).

       The statement was made by SonicNet that the Baltimore gig
       (supposedly a full-length set) would be broadcast instead.  As of
       yet, I have seen no sign that this b'cast took place, and there
       have been no further related postings since the announcement that
       Baltimore would be broadcast.
