Quite likely the truth is that BOC benfitted more from the exposure
than Styx or Kansas gained from having them there.  I mean, most BOC
fans aren't going to be interested in Styx.  But for BOC - being seen
by a large crowd might have the effect of reminding some of those
people that they used to like BOC 20 years ago.  It almost certainly
got them seen by more people than their last stealth-raid concert in
that area.

I think Ross Reyes might have something, with his comment about how
BOC would probably have benefitted from having been broken up for
10 years.  Then when they got back together, it might have generated
a spark, both within the band, and among their fan base.  Instead
of another same old, same old year in the endless tour.

You know, Styx has been back together for about 4 months, and they
already have 3 new songs.
