More dead people today! The obit for the original Styx drummer today also
should clear up just why the band (without him--he was already suffering from
the complications of longterm alcoholism) headlined over BOC on the oldies
circuit this summer-- they not only put out four (count 'em) successive
triple platinum albums in their heyday (immediately selling more than BOC did
in their entire career) but had reformed without Tommy Shaw for a successful
comeback album and headlining (ie, bigtime concert-not backwater bars) tour
in the '90s.
