Look forward to it or fear it; both is kind of accepting. Not accepting is
denying, I guess.

A friend of mine said thought life was useless because of the latter. He
thought it woould have helped if his parents had been bringing him up like a
Christian. He then would have a perception of a heaven.
I didn't agree. I was brought up an atheist. I have my own vision of death
now. It does not include any heavens or gods, but it does not make me feel
life as being useless.

To be honest, I do too.

Nervous... as in 'looking forward'? Actually, I am looking forward to it as
well. It's not that I am sick of life. When you're ready to die, ready to
make the ultimate journey, it's my belief that you are really /ready/ to do
it (unless there's some unfortunate helicopter you fall out of the sky with,
or fucking brain tumor that hits you). You've lived your life to the full,
there's no more things your brains can learn.
But you have got to make sure you learn enough before you get old. If you're
too slow, or spend too much time on useless things (like... making money?
being mad about things? resenting things and people?), you get old before you
know it, and too slow to learn anything. I would like to avoid that. I try
anything new to learn.
