The BOC/Magic connection

According to the latest issue of Inquest, the Magic: The Gathering
collectible card game contains one card related to BOC.  Steve Conard,
developer of the Legends expansion set for the game, explains that the card
Takklemaggot resulted from his mis-hearing a line from "Veteran of the
Psychic Wars."  Takklemaggot was reprinted in the Chronicles set late last
year and is now readily available.  I would imagine the line he misheard was
"Tides of madness," although he doesn't specify.

This is particularly amusing to me because I'm currently working on
developing a BOC collectible card game.  (I've also been working for some
time on publishing an Imaginos comic book, if the elusive Sandy Pearlman
could ever get back on track--these projects are fun, but setting them up can
be a real headache).
