The Ben Schultz CD I have is copyright 1992 although I'd swear it was
within the past year that I picked it up and saw the short article
and the ad in _Guitar Player_. As I said, Tim only plays on a few cuts,
but he's included in the band picture both in the CD booklet and in
the _Guitar Player_ ad.
The Pipedream album I have is dated 1979 and is a promo on ABC Records,
so it's possible it never made it into the stores. It certainly seems
to be Tim's project: he's credited with lead vocals, on a couple cuts
he overdubs a second bass line, and in the liner notes he thanks someone
for their help during the four years it took to get the project going.
I was about to say that none of the other musicians were recognized
names as that was my memory when I got the album, but while the checking
the jacket for this answer I discover that, lo and behold, the guitarist
is none other than Ben Schultz. (-8
