Hmm?  I've heard the term Busking used around Mardi Gras a lot,
referring to various musicians going there.

Never really picked up an any equivalent, or encountered it anywhere
else until reading a Hawkwind background.  Heck for awhile I thought
it was some kind of cajun term....
