HW: CYM and Sonic Attack ReReleased!!!

       Just checked out the Griffin site (www.griffinmusic.com/new.htm)
       for the tracklist of these two "new" monsters.  Looks like CYM has
       two extra tracks tacked on, an alternate version of "Silver
       Machine (Full version)" and a 1982 recording of "Psych.Warlords".
       The SA has the extra track "Transdimensional Man", previously only
       available as a B-side on a 7".

       Both have a release date of Sept.24 (next Tuesday).  And the price
       is US$12.98 (+p&h) direct from Griffin.  No mention of them on RPMs
       page, has anybody called Delta Wave about availability yet?

       OFF:
       Looks like Griffin is also putting out an Eloy comp drawn from the
       three early seventies releases "Floating", "Inside", and "Power and
       the Passion".  With only a couple of songs from the first two, and
       four songs from the third one, this is merely a teaser for those
       who already know Eloy.  However, this is probably a good low-price
       introduction to this terrific group for those Americans who have
       not been able to find any releases.
       NOTE:  This period of Eloy is just before they entered their peak
       (IMH-but-disputed-O), so the songs are quite good, but the next few
       years after "P&tP" produced their most popular titles.  A great
       second purchase might be either "Live" or "Silent Cries Mighty
       Echoes" (which has strong HW-related lyrics).
