BOC: Old observations

Someone recently sent me several articles and reviews of BOC that
appeared in (mostly British) publications back in the 70's and 80's.
There were 2 observations I found rather interesting:
1. A reviewer of one of the shows in '78 thought that BOC's setlist
had become very stale, and that it was time for the band to do away
with several songs that they had been playing for years. Wonder what
this person would think 18 years later of BOC's sets?
2. In one of the articles, the person mentioned "Godzilla" as being
influenced by the rock classic, "Wild Thing". When I first read this,
I thought it was nuts, but then I imagined the guitar chords in both
tunes -- well, the chords are different, but I'll be dammned how close
the rhythms come - it's almost like "Godzilla" is "Wild Thing" written
in a minor key.
