Excellent story, Andy! What year are we talking about here?

Did you see in the Independent on Sunday there was an extract from a new
book on the Clash by Johnny Green(?) concerning their introduction to
Sandy Pearlman and BOC. Pearlman tries to get into a Clash gig, introduces
himself to the bouncer as their new producer, and gets beaten up and
thrown out!
