OFF: procmailrc - HELP!

OK, I just got advice fromm experts here and set up a mail loop. Maybe
the folks on the list will be able to help.

I'm running some flavour of unix (details on request) under X windows
(usually but sometimes with vt100).

We've moved from one flavour to another so what I had worked out with
rcvalert scripts and a .maildelivery file now appears to need biff and
the .procmailrc file.

What I'd ideally like to do is as follows:

A) I have mail coming in from two lists, BOC-L and LIBERNET-D. I'd like
these filed to folders in Mail/hwin and Mail/lib respectively without
lodging themselves in my main email folder in .Mail

B) When I send messages out to these lists, I don't want a copy for
myself since I'll get one when they arrive back in the correct folders.

C) When mail arrives, I'd like to be told who it's from, a clipped
subject line, and if it's a list one, marked LIB or BOC-L in an alert
line. I understand that this is where biff comes in.

D) If I send mail out that's not for the lists, I'd like a copy kept in
.Mail but I don't want an alert since I already know I've just sent mail.
The account this comes from is fofp at holyrood.ed.ac.uk

E) This is trickier I guess. I usually have two windows open to
Holyrood. I'd like to set it up so that mail alerts come in one
window but not the other. I previously did this by setting up a
mailoff command which disabled mail alerts in a window, and a mailon
command which enabled mail alerts to the window the command was given
from, but disabled them to all other open windows. Something in my
.bashrc file (now gone alas) previously set these up using rcvalert.

Any help with these massively appreciated.

FoFP
