Ah ha, I was right.  Marshall used 6L6's for about 18 months starting
around 1996 sometime, but found out that it made their already
unreliable amps even more so.

Maybe I should be "Dr. ECC83".
Or maybe "Funkatronic Pandemonium Enhancer"
Or maybe not.
