In a sense, yes... Thematically, there's a lot of bad drugs and worse
sex... his "Lost Johnny" lyrics give an idea of his preoccupations. You
can check out a lot of his lyrics on his own website
(http://members.aol.com/byron4d/index.html); the best of them convey a
relish of sleaze like no-one else. Most of his music is written in
collaboration - in the past, often with Larry Wallis or Paul Rudolph,
nowadays usually with Wayne Kramer, Jack Lancaster or Andy Colquhoun, and
their styles are naturally very influential on the finished product. But
if MF's handling the vocals himself, you certainly won't mistake him for
anyone else :)

The most readily available of his albums is probably the newest Deviants,
_Eating Jello..._, which is a bit mixed, but worth most of the asking price
for "Arts of Darkness" alone. IM warped O, natch!

_The Deathray Tapes_ is live, and sounds like it was a hoot to have been
there, but is perhaps... less accessible, let's say. :)
