NIK : Big Green Gathering

The Big Green Gathering is a five - day event  Nr Warminster ( which is
I think on Salisbury Plain not too far from Stonehenge. It's on the A303
same as the Henge, at least.) (last year's was the first on the Plains
since the Battle Of The Beanfield.)

All events are Solar or Wind powered and there are no generators allowed
on site (Wiltshire Police run one but what do you expect?)

dates are 23rd - 27th July tix are 40 (or 5 for kids 5-13, 10 14-18)
inc. camping. I believe you can take your vehicle on site and camp next
to it.

My wife went last year. Said it was great. Loads of my friends are
going. (note to Si : inc. Sarah & Tim Smith and crowd)  Apparantly it's
like the Green Fields / Healing Fields at Glasto but without the
Babylon!

only rule is no dogs as 70% of Wiltshire's sheep population is in the
adjacent fields.

Inner City Unit are playing. NIK played last year (as the All-Stars, I
believe) Adrian Parr (who's probably going) tells me he's there this
year, and a ICU reunion gig is expected.


I'm not going (bollox) as someone has to keep the swadding shop going.
