PS:  Has anyone ever tried putting a CD upside down in their player? What
happens?  I hear that if you microwave them, they make pretty sparks before
bursting into flames . . .

Yeah, I put a CD in my player upside down once. The disk spins and after a
couple of times of trying to read the TOC, the display flashes this cute li'l "ERROR"
light. Good thing it isn't like a computer and spits out an error message that reads
something like "DISK INSERTED WRONG. OPERATOR SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED
WITH ANYTHING SHARPER THAN A RUBBER BALL."

Never nuked a CD, though. I can think of a couple that I would have liked to, though...
But I don't want to zonk my microwave just to watch a lightshow...

obCDPlayer: Bigelf / CLOSER TO DOOM (Think of early Deep Purple sound, with Ozzy
                   on lead vox, TONS of vintage keys (there are at least 6 different Mellotrons
                   on the cover!) with a little Uriah Heep thrown in for Spice ;-) and there ya' go.
                   Too bad it is only 25 minutes long (short).
