I really would like to hear which Calvert songs you don't like... and
it's even more interesting to hear _why_...
I don't care if it happens to be some of my favourites, but that's me and
I'm used to the fact that "nobody" likes the same music as I do... :-)

well, i never said i didn't like it, i said it was swill. i happen to like
swill. anyway, i think
the tunes i was referring to were improvised, and so probably it shouldnt
reflect on the rest of his stuff. the tunes are like i said before,
improvised versions of songs which
are good, but perhaps at the time of improvising, bob had maybe had too
much of something, and wasnt as quick on his feet as he usually would be.
some of it is just
reptition of a pointless phrase, or some poetry that sounds very
unrealistic, and comic-bookish.
i cant remember, really, what i was referring to, for that i apologize. i
shouldnt have said it.
i think the tunes in question are on tapes and bootlegs, and never really
released.
so i guess they are like the equivalent of what might be found wadded up in
a novelists trashbin..
one tune that i dont care for is 'over the top' which i think is on one of
the weird tapes.
again, sorry for making the statement, then failing to back it up.
