Theo's fave band again!

Agreed!  I can't imagine anybody who cannot look past the voice
(which you can grow to appreciate) and see the musicianship and the
integrity that these three have brought.  My very first rock'n'roll
album ever was Archives (a three volume of the first 3 releases:
Rush, Fly by Night, and Caress of Steel) and I hated it.  But it
was all I had to listen to, and the music was incredible.  My very
next rock album was Moving Pictures, when it was brand new.  (So I
am just a young'un!)  Within a period of two years my favorite band
was Motorhead, and then I discovered Hawkwind.  But I still have
always appreciated Rush.  And I have always been on the lookout for
any new band that can give me the honesty and the dedication to
what they are doing.  I have listened to many varied types of music,
from Uriah Heep to Paradise Lost, from Humble Pie to Cannibal
Corpse, and from Deep Purple to King's X, and I still have not found
such a true, honest approach to hard rock (though the "hard" rock
aspect of Rush has mellowed a lot).

Hawkwind and Motorhead still rule supreme for me, but Rush was my
initiation to rock'n'roll, and they maintain a credibility that few
bands can match after so many years.
