OFF: "gotten"?

They consider "got" as an *adjective* rare.  Not as a past participle.  "I've got a silver machine".  "You've got the power, we've got the key". (Sorry 'bout that!)

"Gotten" is, in English English, an archaism, but still current in US English as the past participle of "get".
