It will be written somewhere on the CD/packaging
that it is remastered. Sometimes on cheap compilations
it won't be indicated (like the "Best of Hawkwind" CD)

If you know the catalog # of the remaster(s)
(i.e. the number on the spine) or alternatively
know which number the non-remaster(s) are. The
HW EMI remasters are:
