Then Carl, you should have been around these parts about 12 years ago. With
Woodbridge & Bentwaters US airbases a stones throw away, there were more A10s
in the sky than you could shake a stick at.

Bentwaters AFB - cool planes, nuclear accident scares (some loader apparently
dropped a stack of bombs on the apron), and of course, the obligatory and well
documented UFO sightings (Take Me Away and back on topic).

Anyway, the coolest aircraft IMHO were the 'Nam era US planes. Super Sabres,
Thuds, Corsairs, Phantoms...
