I prefer the B&W Emma Peel stories best. They were bizarre, but not too
silly. The silliness started to appear when the series went to colour.
I also have doubts about Uma Thurman, particularly if her acting is the same
as her role of Poison Ivy in the recent Batman film. Emma Peel should be
played by someone who is able to show that she can stand on her own two
feet.

I had reservations about it originally, especially since most LIS fans I
know hated it. I eventually went and saw it and, not being much of a fan of
the series (particularly the silly ones), I actually liked it.
I came to the conclusion that the fans were dissappointed because it wasn't
corny enough.
I wonder if the producers have heard the Pressurehead version of the LIS
theme, as it is VERY similar to the one in the film (other than the fact
that it is the same tune, if you see what I mean)?
