Dear SpaceRockers,
On behalf of Louis Boone/Professor Electron, I would like to thank you
for all of the warm wishes and kind letters and email of support that he
has received from all over the world.
He is now much improved, responding to treatment and able to carry on
a coherent (mostly) conversation, whereas yesterday, as someone visiting
commented: 'He looks like the Grim Reaper is sitting on his pillow'.
Louis is still in I.C.U. (no, not the band!), his diabetic condition is
now stable, though they have discovered that he also has pneumonia,
complicating his condition. He now shows every sign of pulling through
this health crisis, with all faculties intact.
Louis has indicated that he wishes BORN to GO to continue with it's
scheduled performances during his health sabbatical and legendary
Carl Howard (Nomuzic) has jumped into the slot in support of his
good friend Louis, and will be subbing for the next few gigs:
Wed, 12th August 1998
Downtime NYC, 251 W. 30th Street between 7th & 8th Ave. 10:00pm
Lots of Robots!
At Strange Daze 98, we are playing on Sunday 16th August at 1:30pm
Carl Howard (Nomuzic) and Doug Walker of Alien Planetscapes will
be handling synth and audiogenerator duties. We are dedicating this
show to Louis Boone, since, with pneumonia he isn't going to be
camping anywhere for a few weeks and he really loves being at Strange
Daze.
This is incredible progress in Louis's health, we were very worried
about him and our spirits are very much uplifted by his improvement.
Thank you all.
Marc.
