I hope so, too. But that can be a big assumption, sometimes. I mean,
tracking down *original* masters (as opposed to safety copies, vinyl
ED'd versions, etc.) can sometimes be easier said than done. For
example, DCC eventually ended up with a personal copy belonging to Ian
Anderson to use for their _Aqualung_ remaster, because no other suitable
original masters could be located---anywhere. Also, the reason
Hawkwind's _Warrior on the Edge of Time_ took so long to come out on CD
is because it took a long time to find *ANY* master tapes of that album.
(As it is, the track "Motorhead" is mastered from an LP!)
