BOC: album for the first

Depends on what background  you're coming from, I guess.

I'd have to go with Blue Oyster Cult, the first, or Imaginos.
Maybe even Heaven Forbid, if you heard a song of it on the
radio and want to get more like that.

Or Workshop of the Telescopes, if you'd prefer a compilation this
is the only one worth considering.
