HW: Private gig information

I feel the same - nothing against sf fans (being a mild one myself), but i)
it's a Hawkwind gig for Hawkwind fans, not a Hawkwind gig for sf fans, and
ii) I'd personally be willing to pay more just for a gig which would be
dedicated than have to go through a convention that would have a lot of
non-fans at it (and for whom the gig would be receive low priority in the
grand scheme of things).
