A few people on the lists told me they had some interest in
showing up to this, so I'm forwarding the official annoucement
below. (Directions to St. John's College, Cambridge are available
at http://www.joh.cam.ac.uk/General/Maps/ and Merton Hall is
the long limb of the L-shaped building marked "2" on the college
map, next to "Merton Court").
-----
This Saturday, 13 June, there will be a party and jam session
at Merton Hall, St. John's College. The decks will be cleared for
people to arrive by 6pm and there will be a BBQ, so bring something
to grill (there will be seperate vegetarian grill). There will
be frisbee and football on the lawn (if anyone brings a frisbee or
football).
The jam session will occur when we feel like it. Bring your
instruments. No experience necessary! The theme of the evening
is "Improv in E" :) and we stand by our now standard promise that
non-team players who wank continuously will be summarily bludgeoned
to death with old Ramones records.
Smoking is permitted in the Merton Hall Common Room and in the
Great Outdoors. Any volunteers to help carry the drum kit back to
storage at the end will be mst welcome!
So bring your toys, bring your beverage, bring yourselves.

Rock On,
Carl
