He already has.  In the episode in which Homer enrolls as a freak on a
Lollapalooza-style travelling rock festival, he tries to strengthen his
resolve when faced with taking an undoubtedly-fatal cannonball to the
gut by saying "Don't fear the reaper."  A pretty obvious BOC reference,
IMHO.

BTW, speaking of music references, did anyone see the obvious Zappa
reference in this Sunday's (14 June) issue of Mutts comic strip??  In
the title panel, there is a take-off of Zappa's _Cruising with Reuben
and the Jets_ album cover, done as _Cruising with Ozzie and the Mutts_.
