There's no easy way to draw the line. To be as ruthlessly consistent as
Jill alludes to would require that Live at St.Albans, Rock City,
Orgasmatron, and Dawn of Hawkwind would have to go out with Theta
Orionis.

To my mind the Codex was there to inform hawkfans on which versions of
which tracks appeared on which albums. This quite obviously has a point
where albums that they are likely to see are concerned. The
aforementioned are in that category whereas the short runs of CD-Rs are
not.
