Indeed!  I just started a new job, and was talking to someone
about Hawkwind (he'd never heard of them, but has zillions of
Legendary Pink Dots CDs).  Someone else overheard us and made
the connection between HW and Moorcock.  Turns out he'd never
heard of HW either; he was thinking of Dorian Hawkmoon.
Still...
