Hey, I wish someone had come to me during my stints as a TA with an
excuse like that!  Especially if they happened to be Al Bouchard.

I can picture it now:

Al: Sorry the homework's late.  I had to finish the latest Surgeons
    album, and it took a bit longer than I expected.
Me: Oh, I guess it's okay this time, Al... so long as you autograph my
    copy when it comes out!
