I've got a tape dated 31/10/87 with Calvert and the Starfighters in
Manchester. Tracklist: Nedd Ludd / Test Tube / Diamond Mine / Quark /
power cut and Medusa / Telekinesis / Radio Egypt / Cold War Kid / Hidden
Persuasion / Work Song / Picket Line / Machines Are Quiet / Acid Rain /
Save Them(? - part only) / Fable of the Failed Race / Spirit of the Age /
Ships of Fools / Right Stuff / Catch a Falling Starfighter /
Aerospaceage Inferno / Silver Machine Blues.
Maybe this is the show referred to above? There's a reference during
the Acid Rain intro to a hurricane that had just hit England. Would
this be right for the date of that storm?
