This gig (along with the Sky Club in Nottingham) has been
cancelled, this has a lot to do with the guy who organised the
dates with the band...... and was confirmed by Alan at the
gig on Fri 18th, (was that you Andy !!!!)

For those who are interested;

Alan, Danny and Sean arrived just as we finished clearing up
following a long afternoon party by a fairly large crowd of
indian (asian) students, what a f*****g mess. Al's first
comment was "no keyboards tonight then" owing to restricted
space on stage, first comment from Danny concerned the
distinct lack of headroom also (approx 6'4"), still the gear was
humped and plugged and preparations began.
Following the set by support band band Dr Hasbeen the
boys took the stage, Al opened by pointing out the lack of
keyboards (bit obvious) but later in the evening we heard a
couple of people niggling that the set wasn't "spacey"
enough or "Hawkwindy" enough... I don't beleive they were
serious criticisms as everybody seemed to have a great
time, as far as I was concerned it was excellent hear
the bass man boom. I'll sort out a track by track if anybody
wants it (?Andy).

I'm no serious critic so if you were there you could probably do
a better job than me, I haven't mentioned the support much coz
I'm the backing vox geezer so I refuse to criticise, however:-
The problem with the bloody bass was the guy on the sound
desk, I spent 15 minutes on hands and knees in cable
spaghetti before he realised HE had unplugged it ! Our
bassist was well unchuffed.

Nuff said.

Can anyone confirm this closer to the date, one of my most
played CD's is "Interstellar Chaos", what a gig that should be.
