In '73 or '74 I think, on the Wooden Nickel label.  Actually the full
title is _The Serpent is Rising_, and BMG did a pretty decent CD
reissue (now out of print) in the mid-80s.  You can probably find a
used copy if you look, and if you like Equinox, there's a good chance
you'll like Serpent.  It's less polished, and more raw/energized -
it's the best of the 4 Wooden Nickel albums.
