HW: MICK WALL AUTOBIOGRAPHY

I've just read a review of Mick Walls autobiography "Paranoid: Black
Days With Sabbath & Other Horror Stories", which mentions;

"...the drummer from Hawkwind with his long black fingernail for dipping
into his bag of speed; the singer, Dave Brock, whose expression was as
inscrutable as the cosmos his music purported to explore"

So who was that drummer?
