HW Croydon

The easiest pub to find is the George, on George Street.  Turn right out of
East Croydon station, walk down the road for about 200 yards - cross over at
the junction (Barclays bank on the corner), keep going in a straight line
(this is now George Street), the George is the big Wetherspoons, about 100
yards down on the Right.
